2026 Membership Options
Pool membership entitles the holder access to ALL swim programs. This includes open swim times and adult lessons for parents, and lessons and team activities for the kids and teens. Other activities such as kids movie nights and adult parties may involve a small fee.

Please note that you must complete an application form regardless of your chosen payment method and that your registration information and payment method must match. For credit card payment select the appropriate option from the menu.
INTERAC E-TRANSFER
Members also have the option of paying membership fees via interac e-transfer. In the message section of the transfer please enter the membership household last name, then specify what fee(s) the payment is for (refer to the buttons below for list of fees).

Lifesaving Courses
Bronze Medallion
Test/Certification Fees*
Bronze Medallion teaches the basic lifesaving principles of judgment, knowledge, skill, and physical fitness. Candidates learn rescue procedures for both conscious and unconscious victims. This certificate is required to take any other Lifesaving or Lifeguarding courses. Prerequisites: 13 yrs of age by day of Exam (approx. August 24) (or Bronze Star) and Gold Swim level (or equivalent).
Bronze Cross
Test/Certification Fees*
Bronze Cross builds on the lifesaving procedures of Medallion and prepares candidates to assess dangerous areas and dangerous behaviours in order to keep aquatic facilities safe and to prevent accidents. This certificate allows candidates to work as "assistant lifeguards" and is required to take the National Lifeguard course. Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion..
* The Québec government is no longer subsidizing lifeguard training programs. Beacon Hill Pool will continue to offer course instruction free of charge, but candidates are responsible for the Lifesaving Society testing and certification fees (approximately $85 total).

Course instruction is offered free of charge by the pool. However, because the Québec government is no longer subsidizing lifeguard training, candidates must pay the Lifesaving Society testing and certification fees (approximately $85 total) directly. Please complete the registration form above before submitting payment, and ensure your registration information matches your payment method.
